Yelapa's climate is characterized as Tropical Wet and Dry, with a dry
winter season and monsoon-like rains in the summer. From November
to May, the weather is warm and dry, perfect for a lounge on the
beach or a jungle hike. June through September, you can expect heat
and rains in the afternoon and evening. The storms can be quite
beautiful, with rain seeming to march across the hills and lightning
illuminating the sky.
The following information is for Puerto Vallarta, which tends to be a
couple degrees warmer than Yelapa.
En Yelapa el clima se caracteriza como tropical húmedo , con una
estación seca de invierno y de lluvias monzónicas-durante el verano.
De noviembre a mayo, el clima es cálido y seco, ideal para salir a la
playa o una excursión por la selva.De junio a septiembre, se puede
esperar el calor y las lluviasen las tardes y noches. Las tormentas
pueden ser muy bellas,con lluvia que parece marchar por las colinas
y relámpagosiluminantes. En Puerto Vallarta, suele ser un par de
gradosmás caliente que Yelapa.
